Hello! My name is Hossam, I'm a 3rd year Medical Student at The Warren Alpert Medical School. I’m passionate about the intersection of technology and medicine. I’m currently working on projects focused on AI and ML applications in Medicine I graduated from Brown in 2022 with a double major in Computer Science and Biology, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Visual Computing.

I grew up in Southern Rhode Island, where I spent my time fishing, hiking, camping, and enjoying the outdoors with friends. My journey at Brown introduced me to the transformative power of computer science, particularly its potential to revolutionize medicine. As a medical student, I’ve delved into a range of AI projects, from computer vision to natural language processing, exploring how technology can enhance patient care. While medicine becomes increasingly digitized, I remain committed to keeping it deeply human—centered on compassion, connection, and understanding.

I hold leadership positions in many local and national groups. I have organized regional symposia, collated information for medical students, and mentored undergraduate students
