Projects
Products and research I'm building, mostly around AI for medical education and interventional radiology.
Dendro
AI-powered infrastructure that turns medical teaching — lectures, grand rounds, bedside sessions — into structured learning. From a single recording it produces a transcript and summary, Bloom's-aligned learning objectives, Anki flashcards, and USMLE-style multiple-choice questions with explanations.
300+ users · adopted across ~50% of Brown's medical school · an official part of the Brown Neurology clerkship · partnerships in Neurology Grand Rounds and Cardiology. Co-founded with Jay Khurana, MD.
guidewIRe
A mobile-first reference platform for interventional radiology trainees. It pulls procedure guides, device knowledge, calculators, and curated editorial content into one place — built to modernize trainee resources and strengthen national IR trainee connectivity.
RAG for periprocedural anticoagulation
A retrieval-augmented LLM system for periprocedural anticoagulation decisions in interventional radiology — benchmarking five models against society guidelines. Published in CardioVascular and Interventional Radiology with an SIR abstract.
CPT code prediction from IR notes
An open-source LLM that predicts CPT billing codes directly from interventional radiology operative notes. Published in the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (with collaborators at UCSF).
The Interventionist
A newsletter on AI, interventional radiology, and building in medicine — and a home for clearer thinking about where the two fields meet.
